Why this job matters

As the Contract Manager you will manage contractual risks, obligations and manage the P&L across a number of contracts within the Health Vertical. You will be the point of contact for all contractual topics within your parameter, driving growth on existing contracts by effectively managing moves, add-ons and changes with your contracts. Your main customer will be the NHS, this means you will be willing to travel England wide for site visits as required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure resolution of high risk contractual issues, owning the P&L for mid-sized complex contracts or pillars.
  • Utilise GS contract delivery services to manage low-level contractual activity.
  • Accountable for risk and obligation management for parameter of contract, ensuring compliance and BT governance, ensuring before signature that all contractual obligations are achievable.
  • Deal with multiple levels of stakeholders as you will be customer facing for all contract related matters.
  • Responsible for organic growth of contracts through change control, identifying new sales opportunities and handing these off to account management for pursuit.

What we expect to see on your CV

  • Experience managing mid-sized complex contracts, accounts or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable resource and demand management experience and skills, using best-in-class-practices.
  • Ability to use data to support analysis and decision making, proactively monitoring trends to gain insight and shape processes.
  • Negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships, having difficult discussions and challenging back when required.
  • Consistent organisation skills, working under pressure, coordinating efficiently to deliver outputs on time.
