About the role
Own and operate the end-to-end coordination and control of change requests, ensuring changes are tracked, governed, and delivered in line with defined processes, with strong focus on data quality, compliance, and lifecycle progress.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and governing change requests from intake through to closure.
- Maintaining accurate change records and tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Supporting governance forums with reporting, documentation, and insights.
- Ensuring compliance through quality assurance checks, approvals, and governance controls.
- Escalating risks, issues, and delivery concerns to support successful outcomes.
- Coordinating the handover of approved changes into delivery teams, ensuring readiness across scope, resources, timelines, and commercials.
- Producing management information to provide visibility of change performance and delivery status.
- Supporting audit and assurance activities through effective record keeping and governance adherence.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience supporting or managing change control processes within a PMO or delivery environment
- Strong understanding of governance, reporting, and lifecycle tracking (intake → approval → delivery → closure)
- Experience maintaining change trackers / systems of record with high data accuracy
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple concurrent changes with strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting governance forums and preparing documentation (e.g. approvals, artefacts, reporting)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working with Delivery PMs and wider project teams
- Good analytical skills with ability to identify risks, gaps, and escalate issues
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on process compliance and quality assurance
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience working in a structured change management or contract delivery environment
- Exposure to commercial or financial elements of change (e.g. proposals, cost tracking, billing inputs)
- Experience supporting process improvements or embedding new governance controls
- Relevant PMO / project qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, P3O, MSP)
