Why this job matters

As an Inside Sales, Territory Account Manager (TAM) you will drive the delivery of profit and revenue growth across our established base whilst maintaining high customer satisfaction scores each year via BT’s deep insights surveys. This role will be responsible for co-managing the diversity of customer accounts for the region through frequent and meaningful customer interactions, and careful planning and forecasting to ensure the best return on investment. Sales excellence is only delivered by creating an environment for brilliant performance. You will maintain a continual focus on demonstrating high standards, strong organisation, and sales excellence, managing KPI’s, Salesforce hygiene and as overlay for the sales cycle across all opportunities. By working collaboratively with the wider CPS teams, you will achieve the best outcomes for your customers agreed partnership strategies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for accurate forecasting on both profit and revenue , supporting the strategy plans with your customers, across all hierarchy and legal entities and in harmony with the field sales community.
  • Gaining outstanding feedback and positive net-promotor scores through BT’s customer surveys while also ensuring your joint base admin is completed to a high standard and up-to-date.
  • In charge of closing own contract sales right across the BT enterprise portfolio and in co-managing the larger opportunities procedures. As well as supporting the winning new business and bid process for high level opportunities.
  • Working closely with product specialists, introducing their expertise to your customers to build the right solutions and to create value. Adhering to governance requirements of sales pay plan and sales incentives.
  • Uses research, data, analytics and commercial insights to drive sales and continual improvement to proactively manage churn risk across your base, defending the revenue and pro-actively securing contract resigns.

What we expect to see on your CV

  • Either a degree or well-rounded experience that makes you an interpersonal, organised, focused and proactive individual.
  • Proven track record delivering against targets in a sales role or similar.
  • Ability to deal with challenging customer predicaments and customer opportunities through internal escalation and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo where more effective and efficient routes are identified.
  • Able to build C-level valuable relationships and identify customer champions, pains, needs etc. with the ability to own customer problems and deliver resolutions alongside field sales partners.
