Short Description

As an Inside Account Manager you will assist in driving sales performance as well as managing customer accounts through frequent and meaningful interactions. You will carefully plan and forecast to ensure the best return on investment. This role is B2B and you will be responsible for multiple accounts at one time. This means you will know how to prioritise, ensuring your accounts and customers are well managed and cared for.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accurate forecasting on profit and revenue, creating strategy plans with customers. You will also proactively manage churn risk across your base to defend your revenue.
  • In charge of closing own contract sales right across the BT Business portfolio.
  • Support winning new business and bid process for high level opportunities.
  • Research data, analytics and commercial insights to drive sales and continual improvement. In doing this you will drive your own results for consistent business development activities.
  • Accountable for assuring compliance with sales processes and our legal competition requirements, adhering to government polices regarding sales pay plan and sales incentives.

What we expect to see on your CV

  • 1-2 years experience in a sales role would be ideal (or in a similar field such as recruitment etc.)
  • Track record of delivering to targets, with accurate forecasting and consistent delivery.
  • Ability to deal with challenging customer situations, owning problems and delivering resolutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills working with both internal and external teams.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
