Job Description

We operate a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, please only apply if you are comfortable with this arrangement.

About the role

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and deliver automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD technologies to support customer outcomes.
  • Lead and support the automation of network, cloud, and infrastructure services across enterprise environments, ensuring scalable and reliable deployment approaches.
  • Partner with network, platform, and delivery teams to develop reusable automation frameworks, testing approaches, and governance controls.
  • Improve operational efficiency by troubleshooting automation challenges, optimising existing solutions, and promoting best practice adoption across teams.
  • Deliver technical leadership by contributing to design reviews, influencing automation strategy, and sharing knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Proven ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco SDWAN/AC
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, with experience working across engineering teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Harness, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash, API integrations, or automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Understanding of SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, network programmability, or enterprise networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, container technologies, monitoring, or observability tools.
  • Relevant cloud, automation, or DevOps certifications.
