Why this job matters


As a Contract Professional, you will be responsible for protecting the value of managed contracts through mitigating risks and effectively delivering contractual obligations. In this role you will be managing your own small scale contracts within the CPS function of BT. The contracts you will work on are bespoke, with a variety of important stakeholders (from commercial government, public safety, to central government.)

This role requires SC clearance for the nature of some contracts you'll be working on. Please only apply if you are able and willing to gain this. (Have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years, have no criminal record, and willing to undergo background checks).

What you’ll be doing

  • Work independently, recording complex decision points, financial performance, service delivery, billing, and efficiency of change controls and general support activities in relation to contracts.
  • Undertake security risk management; key performance indicators, service-level agreements, accuracy of change log, effective archiving of evidence.
  • Support the contract management organisation across several functions such as governance, risk management, mitigation and obligations, customer support, debt and profit and loss management.
  • Deliver change control on contracts to help develop new business opportunities.
  • Billing and debt management, cost and revenue validation, monitoring and managing financial performance.

  • Legal background would be beneficial but is not necessary.
