As a Project Professional at BT, you'll support the planning and coordination of a variety of projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes. Your role will involve engaging directly with customers, contributing to their positive experience through the successful delivery of project goals. In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic community of Project and Programme Managers, where you’ll have the opportunity to further develop your understanding of project management methodologies and tools while adhering to established governance and standards. Your eagerness to learn and grow will be key to your success and the success of the projects you support.

Office Locations Available – London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Leeds, Sheffield, Southampton, Cardiff, Newcastle (Gosforth)

BT offers flexible working with a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week, with 2 flexible days per week.

You'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of medium-sized projects that are important to our customers. The delivery will be visible and impactful.
  • Support project risk management for BT and customers by using and adapting recognized project management methods and processes.
  • Ensure the PMO and resourcing functions are informed of upcoming demand and contract requirements.
  • Act as a customer advocate by understanding their needs and working to deliver quality and timely solutions.
  • Gain an understanding of the customer's business context and how your work contributes to their success.
  • Collaborate with Practice and Hub Managers and the Client Services team to ensure consistent project delivery.

You'll have the following skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in a project management position (2/3 years+) skills
  • Some prior experience in delivering solutions to customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in project management.
