  • Define and drive the delivery excellence strategy, ensuring alignment between business priorities, portfolio roadmaps and delivery commitments.
  • Own and continuously evolve portfolio planning and governance processes, providing senior leadership with clear visibility of delivery performance, risks and outcomes.
  • Establish and embed delivery performance and quality frameworks, using data and insight to improve predictability, delivery health and business value.
  • Identify systemic delivery challenges and lead strategic interventions that strengthen planning, execution, governance and overall portfolio performance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation to champion modern delivery practices, influence decision making and drive continuous improvement at scale.
  • Build organisational capability through coaching, standards and best practice, fostering a culture of accountability, learning and delivery excellence.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivery planning, governance, performance and continuous improvement across Business Digital.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Significant experience leading portfolio, planning, delivery performance, PMO, transformation or operational excellence functions.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including leading and developing senior individual contributors or managers in delivery, performance or tooling roles.
  • Strong experience leading or overseeing delivery performance at portfolio or multi‑workstream level, with a clear focus on measurable outcomes (e.g. on‑time delivery, quality, throughput).
  • Significant experience in complex digital, technology or transformation environments.

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Planning and delivery tooling expertise, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement qualifications.
