As a Senior Technology Delivery Lead, you will operate as the senior accountable leader for large-scale enterprise engineering engagements, taking end-to-end responsibility for successful delivery across mobilisation, planning, staffing, execution, governance, reporting, quality, risk, escalations and client outcomes. This is a role for someone who can lead confidently at executive level, bringing together delivery discipline, technical credibility, commercial awareness and strong relationship management to create lasting client value.
You will lead complex programmes and account delivery across major enterprise clients, working closely with senior client stakeholders, account leadership, engineering teams and delivery partners. You will be expected to bring previous experience as a senior technologist, ideally with a strong background in software engineering, architecture or platform transformation, while now operating primarily as a senior delivery and account leader who can shape, govern and recover complex delivery environments.
Beyond delivery execution, you will play an important role in strengthening and growing strategic client accounts. This includes recognising opportunities, supporting propositions and proposals, contributing to commercial conversations, and helping clients define future engineering and transformation roadmaps.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Extensive experience operating at Senior Manager level or equivalent, leading large-scale technology, digital engineering or platform transformation programmes across complex enterprise accounts.
- A strong technical background in engineering, software development, architecture, DevOps, cloud platforms or modern product engineering, with the credibility to engage senior technical stakeholders while leading at programme and account level.
- Maintains a deep understanding of the evolving AI landscape and proactively champions the responsible adoption of AI solutions, leveraging these capabilities to drive innovation, strengthen client relationships and deliver measurable business value across complex client engagements.
- Proven end-to-end delivery accountability, including mobilisation, planning, staffing, execution, governance, financial control, RAID management, executive reporting, quality assurance and delivery recovery.
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary and distributed teams across multiple workstreams, including Engineering Leads, Architects, Delivery Managers, Product specialists, Quality Engineers and third-party suppliers.
- Exceptional senior client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships with CIO, CTO, Engineering Director, Programme Director and C-suite stakeholders.
- Consulting background is highly desirable, particularly within major professional services or technology consulting environments, with experience balancing client value, delivery outcomes and account growth.
- Commercially aware, with experience supporting account management activities such as identifying growth opportunities, shaping follow-on work, contributing to bids or proposals, supporting forecasting, and understanding revenue, margin, utilisation and contractual considerations.
- Strong problem-solving and escalation management capability, with the confidence to lead through ambiguity, resolve complex delivery challenges, and make informed decisions under pressure.
You will be comfortable representing delivery performance and programme health to both internal and client executive audiences. You will bring the gravitas to operate across senior stakeholder groups, the delivery discipline to ensure commitments are met, and the engineering credibility to challenge, support and guide technical teams towards practical, high-quality outcomes.
You will also contribute to the wider development of our engineering delivery capability, supporting communities of practice, mentoring future leaders, sharing lessons learned across accounts and helping shape how we continue to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients.
