About the role

This role sits within BT Business Security Portfolio and supports the development and in-life management of our Palo Alto SDWAN and wider Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) portfolio.

As organisations increasingly look to combine networking and security into a single cloud-based solution, this role plays an important part in shaping and growing BT’s Palo Alto proposition. You will help bring innovative SDWAN and SASE capabilities to market through One Business, working closely with Digital, Sales, Finance, Service and vendor partners to create differentiated solutions that deliver value for customers and drive commercial growth.

Working alongside the Palo Alto SASE Product Manager, you will contribute to roadmap development, proposition launches, commercial performance and customer experience improvements, helping BT strengthen its position in one of the fastest-growing areas of the security market.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the launch and ongoing product management of Palo Alto SDWAN.
• Support the development and launch of BT’s Palo Alto SASE proposition.
• Lead agreed product initiatives across the Palo Alto portfolio, including new capabilities and enhancements.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, ensuring customer needs, market opportunities and business objectives are reflected in prioritisation decisions.
• Produce clear product requirements and support delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals for new products, features and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, reduce operational complexity and enhance commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Palo Alto Networks and key internal stakeholders.
• Create sales, marketing and customer collateral to support proposition growth and pipeline generation.
• Support bids, sales opportunities and customer engagements where specialist product knowledge is required.
• Act as an advocate for the proposition, promoting awareness and understanding across BT Business.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Experience contributing to the development, launch or ongoing management of networking, security or cloud-based technology products and services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external partners.
• Proven commercial awareness, with the ability to evaluate opportunities, support business cases and contribute to product performance.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Knowledge of telecommunications, networking, cloud or cyber security markets and associated customer challenges.
• Experience supporting product launches, go-to-market activities, customer propositions or bids.
• Understanding of cloud-delivered managed services and subscription-based commercial models.
