What you’ll be doing

  • Developing mission critical applications across different platforms
  • Ensuring timely delivery of a high-quality overall solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborating with Developers, Leads, Architects, Delivery Managers.
  • Keeping the application up to date by working with IT to test and apply patches and upgrades.
  • Learning new processes and multiple technologies.
  • Business Impact: Ensures on-time, quality deliveries for BT.

Skills Required for this Role

Essential Skills (Skills without which the person cannot perform the role, limit to a maximum of four skills only )

  • Hands-on coding ability and trouble shoot and fix Java web applications.
  • Strong technical understanding as well as hands on experience on open-source monitoring toolsets.
  • Exposure in agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills

Overall Skills and Experience (Include skills that in addition to the essential skills are required for the person to perform the role in a better way )

  • Experience in technical of complex project deliveries end-to-end with matrix managed structure.
  • Experience developing and designing Enterprise Application development Projects
  • Self-starter who can lead the way by setting up prototypes for vendor technical teams to follow
  • Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards
  • In depth understanding of Telecom product offerings.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Possess BE / BTech. degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Following are must have technical skills:
  1. Java/Java EE
  2. Hibernate
  3. Linux commands
  4. Spring basics
  5. Restful services
  6. MySql or any other Database

Desirable

  • Optional technical skills :
  1. Javascript
  2. Angular 2/4/5/6
  3. Druid/Kafka
  • Training exposure with large Telco service providers is a plus
  • Experience in working with geographically dispersed teams
