About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications within a dynamic Telco IT environment. This role involves leading technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of services and front-end applications. You will also support deployments and incident handling in production environments.

What you will do

  • Develop and perform unit testing for Java/Spring Boot applications.
  • Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Translate design specifications into robust implementations.
  • Configure and manage technical dependencies across teams.
  • Define and configure interfaces for data exchange between services and front-end applications.
  • Present design and implementation details to solution designers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Analyse defects and provide timely fixes.
  • Handle incidents and complex failure scenarios in production alongside DevOps engineers.
  • Support DevOps teams for deployments across environments.

Who you are

  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot development (minimum 5 years).
  • At least 2 years of experience in DevOps/Cloud environments.
  • Agile mindset with experience in hybrid agile/waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Telco business processes (Cable/TV).
  • Proficient in tools such as Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices.
  • Educational qualifications: B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc (Computer Science).
    Preferred: SAFe Agile certifications, AWS DevOps, Java certifications, Kafka, caching, and relational database experience.
