How You'll Make An Impact:

Boomi is seeking a Director of Global Sales Enablement Strategy and Activation to lead the design and implementation of targeted enablement initiatives across key business segments and revenue roles. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Global Enablement Programs team, sales leadership, Marketing and product to ensure the successful activation of key programs tailored by segment and role, ultimately driving measurable outcomes such as increased pipeline growth, accelerated deal velocity, and enhanced customer relationships.

This is a critical role within Boomi’s enablement team, responsible for developing and implementing strategies that directly translate to revenue growth. We are looking for a strategic, data-driven leader passionate about driving sales effectiveness through world-class enablement. You will manage a global team of enablement professionals and create scalable solutions in partnership with the global enablement team that focus on onboarding, continuous learning, sales methodology adoption, and performance reinforcement.

What You'll Do

  • Implement Segment-Specific Enablement Strategies: Design and activate enablement programs tailored to the needs of each business segment (e.g., enterprise, and commercial), ensuring global alignment with overall company goals and go-to-market strategies.

  • Collaborate with Segment Leaders: Partner with segment business leaders and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Product,) to identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring enablement programs address these needs.

  • Operationalize Enablement by Segment and Role: Establish operational frameworks to streamline and scale enablement programs across segments and roles, ensuring consistency in execution while allowing for localized adjustments.

  • Design and Deliver Continuous Learning: Implement ongoing learning and development programs that build segment and role specific expertise, ensuring that sales teams are equipped with the latest tools, knowledge, and methodologies to succeed.

  • Ensure Measurement and Impact: Define key performance metrics for segment enablement programs and use data-driven insights to continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of initiatives.

  • Enablement Content & Tools: Collaborate with content and tool development teams to deliver resources, playbooks, and training that support sales teams in delivering segment-specific value to customers. Ensure adoption of these resources.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with sales leadership and field teams, ensuring alignment on segment priorities and effective implementation of enablement initiatives.

Who You Are

  • Enablement Expertise: Proven experience leading sales enablement teams, preferably with a focus on segment-specific or go-to-market enablement in a global or complex sales environment.

  • Strategic Leadership: Strong track record of developing and implementing strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable results.

  • Sales and Go-to-Market Knowledge: Experience in sales, customer success, and technical roles with a deep understanding of segment-specific dynamics.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively across functions (Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.) to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.

  • Operational Excellence: Skilled at operationalizing enablement initiatives to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across global segments.

  • Data-Driven: Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform strategy, improve program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity.

  • Communication & Influence: Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and inspire teams to achieve shared goals.

The Experience You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Enablement or Field-facing roles

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing teams

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Experience with Enablement and sales tools Salesforce, Gong, CMS and LMS, Articulate Rise

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

  • Experience with risk management and mitigation.

  • Knowledge of best practices in adult learning and enablement for revenue team members

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA ranges from $165,000- $205,000. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
