Job Description

Job Title: Production Controller

Location: Washington

Salary: £38,604

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan, schedule and manage Production Works Orders to support the site Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Identify and manage problems impacting PWO achievement (stock discrepancies, material shortages)
  • Material management including Vendor scheduling, Stock checks, Daily and weekly SAP bookings
  • Control the issue of material throughout the production process in line with the MPS
  • Maintain SAP Data to ensure MRP System effectiveness and data accuracy
  • Liaise with multiple business functions to ensure Manufacturing Schedule Adherence can be achieved both efficiently and effectively
  • Organising weekly transport requirements

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Excel in particular
  • Experienced in Stores/Stock Control practices and techniques
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across the site
  • Excellent data analysis and integrity skills
  • Safety conscious attitude, with knowledge and skills to fully integrate safety into the role is desirable

The Planning and Logistics team:

As a Production Controller within our team, you will support Washington operations by ensuring implementation of processes and procedures that effectively manage, plan and distribute raw material and finished product; to assist production in meeting contractual delivery dates. Your role will support accurate data capture and analysis of production performance such as efficiency, utilisation and effectivity.
