Job Description

Job Title: Planning & Production Control Manager

Location: Broad Oak

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with the Master Schedule Planning Managers and other internal stakeholders, to ensure data cleanliness for customer demand
  • Responsible for creating Master Production Plans (MPPs) that are aligned to the business Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Responsible for the creation and the presentation of capacity plans and suggestions to maximise internal capacity with external demand
  • Undertake the development and execution of the demand plan for Products – Maritime and Land. This includes but is not limited to liaising with each Project/Production Manager and other internal stakeholders within the business
  • Utilise SAP Long Term Business Planning tools to deliver scenarios to support business growth
  • Attend internal stakeholder and customer reviews (e.g. Bid Reviews, RBAs)

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of managing people, you will manage a team of Planning & Production Control staff across multiple sites
  • Extensive planning knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP, preferrable SAP
  • Level 5 qualification (for example CILT) would be highly desirable

The Planning & Production Control team:

As a Planning & Production Control Manager you will be responsible for leading a team across two Products sites – Broad Oak and Hillend. You will be responsible for the demand planning activity and long term business planning which will include involvement in all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring external supply requirements are understood and considered as well as collating and analysing demand planning inputs from various project teams applicable to material manufacture and procurement.
