Job Description:

This role focuses on implementing, managing and automating deployment pipelines for machine‑learning models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient and fully integrated into production environments. It supports the development and maintenance of CI/CD workflows tailored to ML, while overseeing model versioning, registry management and the incorporation of data‑governance practices into routine processes.

Core duties:

  • Tracking and managing ML models through version control and registries
  • Staying updated on AI advancements and exploring innovative techniques to improve existing solutions
  • Incorporating governance of data into routine processes
  • Supporting the address of complex problems and to inform strategic and operational decision making
  • Supporting the design and support for the upgrade, management, decommission of AI models

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of the data landscape within the sector and how data sets may interact
  • Experience of working in an IT Function
  • Demonstrates excellent domain expertise in MLOps, including; model lifecycle management, CI/CD for machine learning, data pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Experience applying best practices from industry bodies of knowledge (e.g. DevOps, ML engineering standards) alongside orgainsational processes to deliver scalable, reliable ML systems
  • Experience applying knowledge on topics such as; model monitoring. reproducibility, governance and automation, whilst absorbing emerging tools, frameworks and methodologies incorporating them into practice
  • Clear understanding of the broader business contest, ensuring ML solutions align with product, operational and commercial goals
  • You will have skills in Kubernetes-based deployment, ML lifecycle governance, observability using key tools such as MLflow, GitLab CI/CD, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Vault, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki
