Job Description

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is home to 4,500 digital, cyber and intelligence experts. We work collaboratively across 10 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Introducing and following the best standards in DevOps practice
Automation of product deployments
System platform administration and monitoring
Reproducing, investigating and diagnosing the most complex issues related to supported platform and its architecture

Essential Skills and Experience:

At least 3-4 years of practical experience in DevOps role
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Experience in AWS Cloud
Experience in administration of Linux
Understanding complex system architectures and ability to support creating new ones
Good knowledge of a scripting language (i.e. Bash, Python)
Experience with version control system (GIT)
Experience with monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager)

Would be a plus:

Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
Solid understanding of computer networks (configuration and troubleshooting)
Experience with infrastructure monitoring
CKA, or CKAD, or CKS certificate
