Salary: Up to £68,000 depending on skills and experience

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join the IPS Strategy Team, with a particular focus on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Sustainable Procurement / Environmental, Social and Governance framework in procurement (ESG).
Core Duties:
Develop and own the IPS Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework
Lead the development and implementation of IPS sustainable procurement initiatives
Embed ESG considerations into supplier selection, supplier management activities and category strategies
Define supplier segmentation models, engagement frameworks and performance management processes
Drive a consistent approach to supplier relationship management across Technology, Infrastructure, Professional Services and People Services categories
Support category teams in developing strategic supplier relationships that deliver value beyond cost reduction, including innovation, resilience, risk mitigation and sustainability
Establish supplier performance metrics, review forums and performance reporting to drive accountability and continuous improvement
3 office days / week – Hybrid options are dependant on role and can range from fully remote to on-site full time

Provide guidance and support to category teams in developing supplier improvement plans that deliver measurable business value
Identify and share SRM best practice, driving capability and consistency across Indirect Procurement Services category teams
Essential Skills:
Significant procurement experience, ideally within an indirect procurement environment.
Good experience developing, implementing or managing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks
Experience of supplier segmentation, supplier governance and supplier performance management
Experience working with strategic suppliers to deliver value beyond savings
Sustainable Procurement / ESG experience
Indirect category management and people management experience
MCIPS Qualification
The Indirect Procurement Services team:
Support the delivery of robust sourcing exercises in line with the category strategy and company processes to deliver optimum outcomes for the enterprise.
Review all requirements in a timely manner and meet any applicable deadlines. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, governance, and regulatory requirements. Work with the category teams to leverage frameworks and group agreements to drive efficiency and consistency.
