Job title: Management Information Lead

Salary: Circa £75,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide, coordinate and lead the delivery of the Maritime Services Management Information (MI) capability to provide insights into performance and Business measures
• Implement a layered approach to MI provision, from detailed operational MI to director-level indicators, ensuring alignment and integration at all levels
• Collaborate with the Maritime Services Business Leads to determine MI requirements for in line with the Maritime Services MI strategy and roadmap
• The role will own the end-to-end MI process and procedure, from initial engagement to successful delivery, implementation, and adoption
• Ensure adherence to essential processes and procedures based on Project Management knowledge
• Monitor the Maritime Services MI suite for business adoption, suitability, and ongoing enhancements
• Be accountable for the budget, performance, and results of the MI team
• Manage the integrated MI project plan and prioritize resources to address operational challenges
• Conduct People Management activities and support the development of the MI team as required

Your skills and experiences:

• Extensive knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques, and practices
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues in a broader Business context
• Experience in managing data improvement projects and/or data governance projects
• Proven communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills, essential for working across all Business Streams
• Ability to control resources and manage work package collation/implementation with minimal guidance
• Customer-focused with a strong service delivery mentality
• Knowledge of SAP BW4HANA, Tableau and Alteryx would be beneficial

The IT Projects, Information and Data team:

The IT Projects, Information and Data team support all of Maritime Services in all aspects of IT Project delivery, Business wide MI requirements capture/development/delivery/adoption and support on all elements of Data Governance. The team also support alignment of tools and processes with BAE Systems Shared Services and Group strategy as well as represent Maritime Services on the appropriate working groups to share best practise and direction.
