Job Description
Job Title: IT Associate – Service Support
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for per annum this particular role
Salary: £40,748 – £44,000 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
- You will support with future developments and deployments of new and upgraded Product Lifecycle Management capabilities
- Act as a mentor and support the wider team, trainees and apprentices
- Engage with and support the Functions / Teams in addressing incidents, problems or defining new capabilities with both business stakeholders and the development team
- Be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Continue to develop as an individual and support the development of others
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- You will need to have knowledge and an understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management toolsets, their purpose and usage within industry
- Experience and knowledge of business analysis techniques
- Good knowledge and an understanding of the design and support of complex systems and products
Desirable:
- Be certified in ITIL 4 Foundation
- Experience and knowledge of supporting large scale Enterprise Applications

The Service Delivery Team:
The Group is comprised of 3 teams – Admin, Service Delivery and CAD. Each team is comprised of Engineers with specialist knowledge and skills of the applications in their Product Portfolio and how those applications are used by the wider business to deliver Submarines to the Royal Navy. The Service Delivery Team are responsible for supporting the Submarine boat programmes utilising the PLM toolsets to ensure the capabilities and processes work effectively and efficiently. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria
