Job Title: Information Management Practitioner – 12 months fix term contract
Location: Scotstoun, hybrid – 2-3 days per week on site. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: Up to £39,200 dependent on experience

Role description:
As an Information Management Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring information and records are managed securely, efficiently and in line with business and regulatory requirements across the Naval Ships business. Working closely with the Information Manager, you will help drive digital information management improvements, provide expert guidance on information security and records management, and support governance and assurance activities. You will also oversee records storage and library services, ensuring valuable business information remains accessible, compliant and protected.
Core Duties:
- Champion compliance with Information and Records Management Policy and best practice.
- Maintain and improve governance documents, processes and assurance activities.
- Manage records storage and business library services effectively and compliantly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance digital information management capabilities.
Essential skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Information and Records Management principles, standards and best practice.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and use initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications with good organisational skills.

This team provides specialist support across the Naval Ships business, helping to shape the future of information management within some of the UK’s most significant defence programmes.
