Job Description

Job Title: HR Data Systems Advisor

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £30,108

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fully understand the data and SuccessFactors processes, including the impact of data changes, anomalies, and their resolution
  • Collaborate creatively and effectively with key stakeholders such as the HR Data Systems Team, Data Analysts, Business Data Leads, EITS, and Change Management to meet business requirements
  • Identify and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Data Systems Team, fostering innovative thinking and overseeing the implementation of new ideas
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of other service streams or functions that use HR data (e.g. IT, VRS, Payroll) and how this data is interpreted or affects outcomes
  • Ensure strict adherence to governance and control protocols for all incoming and outgoing data

Your skills and experiences:

  • Understanding of Data Quality principles and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • A level of familiarity with technology platforms relevant to the service area such as payroll systems and data analysis / reporting tools
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Working knowledge of governance and control frameworks, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and regulations
  • Sound understanding of data protection and document retention policies, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal requirements
