Description

Job title: Supply Chain Apprentice

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base (Hampshire)

Salary: Starting from £22,500 with annual progression through the scheme duration

What you’ll be doing:

• Work from engineering drawings to develop patterns to enable the fabrication of components and assemblies to the required specification.
• Utilise a range of powered and non-powered tools and equipment to include but not limited to guillotine, rollers, folding machines and drills.

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will obtain:

• Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4)

These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. Qualification requirements

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English AND
72 UCAS points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
