Location: Newbury office + Hybrid*

Salary: £26,300 (non-London) and £28,940 (London), plus annual performance bonus and VodafoneThree benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

You’ll join VodafoneThree’s network team – where our mission is to build the UK’s best network. We’ll connect millions of people and businesses across the country. Be part of the team that makes it all happen – simplifying, automating, and bringing better connectivity than ever before, with giga-fast speed, to our customers.

As a Network Engineering apprentice at VodafoneThree, you will solve real‑world technical challenges that enhance our network performance and support critical services, contributing to the future of our next‑gen network. A few things you could work on in the role:

  • Learn how a large‑scale telecom network operates, how digital services are designed, and how technology is delivered safely, securely and effectively into production.
  • Support the design, build, testing and improvement of network and technology solutions, working across architecture, engineering, operations and delivery teams,
  • Gain exposure to cutting‑edge cloud, automation and data platforms, while developing core skills in networking, performance, resilience and security.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects, partners and stakeholders, contributing to real projects, change activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Alongside your day-to-day role, you'll study toward a Level 6 Digital & Technology Solutions apprenticeship, delivered by one of our trusted training partners, and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree at the end.

Who you are

  • Someone who loves exploring how technology works, embraces learning new skills, and is motivated by turning complex real‑world problems into smart technical solutions.
  • You’re great at staying organised, juggling tasks, setting priorities, and planning your work so you always stay ahead.
  • You must hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, plus one of the following by September 2026:
    • A‑Levels
    • A Level 3 apprenticeship in a related subject
    • An equivalent Level 3 qualification.
  • Must meet UK Government apprenticeship levy funding eligibility requirements.

Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month, though some roles may require more on‑site presence. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.
