Job title: Procurement & Supply Chain Apprentice

Location: Preston

Salary: Starting from £22,000 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you’ll be doing:

  • During this 27-month scheme you will be engaging with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels to deliver enhanced competitive and commercial performance within the contract framework.
  • You will have opportunities to support supplier approvals and the onboarding process in collaboration with other functional support areas.
  • You will learn about related commercial activity such as influencing policy, financial analysis, engaging in contract law and developing strategy to deliver services.
  • You will be involved in work which could enable you to influence the decisions of others including collecting and interpreting data to find trends and identifying ways to save money and improve efficiency.

What Qualification Will You Get?

Level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply

Procurement & Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard Level 4.

The Procurement & Supply Chain Apprenticeship is delivered by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) with a mixture of online and face to face sessions.

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A*-C which must include Maths & English AND

72 UCAS points (or equivalent) (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
