Job title: Governance/Assurance Team Lead

Salary: £38,500 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with the daily management of operational activities and team performance
• Motivate, support, and develop team members to ensure high performance
• Lead team meetings and training sessions
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the resolution of operational queries
• Handle escalations and ensure a smooth end-user experience
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across teams
• Use analytic skills to conduct impact assessments and support planning
• Collaborate with Shared Services teams to optimise processes and provide updates
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain work instructions and procedures
• Continuously assess and improve Time & Attendance services for efficiency

Your skills and experiences:

• Strong leadership and people skills with previous line management experience
• Understanding of continuous improvement/process improvements
• Previous experience of assurance/governance activities
• Ability to plan and carry out impact assessments
• Strong excel skills including VLOOKUPS

The Time and Attendance Team:

The Time and Attendance team provides a service to over 30,000 UK based employees by processing and maintaining accurate Time and Attendance records. The role will operate in a busy customer facing environment, dealing with queries of varying complexity from employees and stakeholders in the business, resolving transactional queries, processing requests and maintaining accurate data and systems.
