Job title: Executive Assistant

Location: Preston or Frimley – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • This is a high level Business Support role, working directly with a Senior Executive or Director, ensuring the efficient management of the Executive’s office by providing a high quality secretarial and / or administrative service
  • Run the Executive’s office efficiently and effectively, ensuring that the priorities of the Executive are actioned and achieved
  • Organise and summarise papers and reports, conducting additional research where necessary, to ensure that the Executive is in possession of all relevant background information needed
  • Manage all incoming communications (mail, telephone calls and messages); draft responses; redirecting where appropriate to appropriate department; obtaining additional information as necessary
  • Efficient management of the Executive’s diary e.g. schedule appointments, travel itineraries and accommodation requirements, ensuring optimum use of the Executive’s time
  • Utilise detailed business and organisational awareness to ensure effective engagement with senior executives and external contacts on behalf of the Executive

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Substantial experience of providing a secretarial and / or administrative service to Senior Executives.

  • Experience of stakeholder management of internal and external customers, at all levels within an organisation.

  • Excellent IT Skills – Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel). Good working knowledge of relevant company IT system

Desirable:

  • Broad knowledge of business streams and functions

  • Demonstrable experience identifying problems through basic analysis and recommending underlying issues / causes
