Who we are?

The Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Development Services (IMRDS) Alliance is part of the Anglian Water network and is responsible for delivering and maintaining critical water infrastructure.

The Capital Delivery team plans and delivers new, maintenance and renewal projects across the water network, upgrading assets, supporting growth and ensuring long‑term resilience. Working with Anglian Water and our alliance partners, we deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard for customers and communities.

Who We Are Looking For

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager – Capital Delivery to join the Programme and Performance team. Working closely with the Programme and Performance Manager and wider colleagues across Capital Delivery, you will play a key role in defining and delivering business transformation initiatives that drive continuous improvement, productivity and best value.

You will lead projects end‑to‑end, from business case development through to delivery, embedding and benefits realisation. This role is central to shaping future ways of working, supporting data‑led decision making and ensuring change is not only delivered, but fully adopted into business as usual.

We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, trusted and values‑led — a team player who does the right thing, works openly with others and helps create an environment where people feel supported to deliver their best.

Key Responsibilities

You will develop robust business cases and supporting project documentation, defining benefits, costs, risks and timescales. You will manage projects end‑to‑end to agreed scope, time, cost and quality, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are proactively managed and escalated where required. You will coordinate and motivate project teams, balance internal and contract resources, and maintain robust financial control.

You will lead change activity including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, go‑live and BAU handover, ensuring changes are embedded and measurable beyond delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders across Capital Delivery and the wider business to secure buy‑in, manage dependencies and support adoption. You will track and realise financial and non‑financial benefits, embed reporting into BAU, drive productivity improvements and support the move towards a data‑led delivery environment, ensuring all activity remains compliant with regulatory and governance requirements.
