You’ll lead enterprise level leadership communications, shaping a clear, consistent narrative that aligns leaders, teams and partners behind our priorities. You’ll maintain a strategic “helicopter view” across major change and growth programmes, ensuring messages are sequenced, coherent and focused on what matters most.
As the line manager for Internal Communications Leads, you’ll set direction, prioritise the most critical work, and develop capability across the team. You’ll coach and challenge senior leaders to communicate with credibility and impact, resolve competing demands, and ensure communications support culture, engagement and delivery at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Own the enterprise leadership communications strategy and narrative.
Coach and advise senior leaders across Anglian Water and Alliance partners; oversee agency outputs.
Direct and develop IC Leads; prioritise workloads to protect focus on strategic objectives.
Reconcile competing priorities; drive crossbusiness alignment and message consistency.
Lead the enterprise change story; sequence communications across programmes.
Measure impact, share insight and continuously improve approaches.

Essential Criteria
Extensive experience leading strategic internal communications at enterprise scale.
Demonstrated success aligning leadership messaging across multiple directorates/partners.
Line management experience developing senior communication professionals.
Strong judgement and stakeholder management at Director/Exec level.
Experience supporting culture and behaviour change through communications.
