IMA Planner
Location: Huntingdon
Contract: Full Time Secondment/Fixed Term Contract

Integrated Metering Alliance (IMA) is the team that provides new and replacement meters, water saving initiatives and develops new ways to better service our customers. This area of Anglian Water has a whole host of roles and opportunities available, from operational frontline work to project management, data analysis and more.

What will you be doing as an IMA Planner?
Delivery of Business as Usual services; manage non-availability for operatives, monitor and adjust OFSC capacity settings for all IMDS resources. Feed back and escalate to the planning forum any risks or opportunities that arise. Work with other teams to ensure LOS is maximised for Metering work and maximising the satisfaction of all customers. Create plans for office teams and monitor performance. Assist the rest of the planning team with mailbox management and administration of non-availability for field resources.
What it will take to do this job?
Manage IMA Planning Team mailbox with day to day queries
Manage annual leave and other non-availability for IMA field resources, keeping SAP, OFSC and resource modeler updated
Uploading of bulk non-availability into SAP to maximise efficiency
Create IDPs and work plans for office based teams
Create forecasts of future workloads for office teams
Closely monitor and make adjustments to OFSC capacity settings for all IMA field resources
Produce reports to show current and future availability of field resources/appointments
Report current situation to the planning forum and escalate any potential risks and opportunities
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours
Educated to A level standard or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in an operational environment
Strong business analyst skills
Strong awareness & understanding of operational issues
Excellent IT and keyboard skills with emphasis on SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Applications
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Strong prioritising and decision-making skills
Demonstrate using own initiative, working on own or as part of a team
Able to demonstrate a highly flexible, constructive attitude and strong team working skills
