Integrated Metering Alliance (IMA) is the team that provides new and replacement meters, water saving initiatives and develops new ways to better service our customers. What will you be doing as an IMA Planner?
Create plans for AMP8 smart metering programme to enable efficient scheduling and minimise disruption to meter reading while ensuring roll out is in line with smart metering infrastructure. Ensure work orders are raised in a timely manner to allow operational teams to achieve monthly/quarterly targets. Provide analysis of work completed and of remaining target properties for the smart meter rollout. Work to maximise the efficiency of the rollout and ensure achievement of the whole region smart meter target.
What it will take to do this job?
You’ll be required to create roll out plans for AMP8 smart metering programme and ensure roll out is in line with smart infrastructure deployment to maximise connection rates.
Coordinate with meter reading, all communications, work requests, scheduling and contact teams to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The creation of maps to show remaining targets and highlight areas of concern, then analyse completed work and upcoming targets and use findings to improve future planning.
Managing key stakeholders inside and outside of IMA and keep them up to date, escalating any potential issues to Planning Manager and Smart Metering Team.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours
Educated to A levels standard or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in an operational environment
Strong business analyst skills
Strong awareness & understanding of operational issues
Excellent IT and keyboard skills with emphasis on SAP and Microsoft Applications
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Strong prioritising and decision making skills
Able to show initiative, working on own or as part of a team
Able to demonstrate a highly flexible, constructive attitude and strong team working skills
Organised with a level of high flexibility to cover operational events
