- Drive improvements in code quality, testing, and developer experience.
- Lead and contribute to code reviews, setting a high bar for engineering standards.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, libraries, and frameworks where appropriate.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Partner with Product and Design to shape requirements, user journeys, and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Backend teams to define and optimise APIs and data flows.
- Contribute to a fast, iterative release cadence supported by CI/CD.
- Actively participate in Agile processes, ensuring predictable and high-quality delivery.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and support other engineers, driving technical growth and best practices.
- Lead by example in both delivery and behaviour, fostering a strong engineering culture.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to team-level decision making.
- Act as a key point of contact for Android within the wider engineering organisation.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
- Improve development workflows, tooling, and processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in Android and mobile development.
- Contribute to longer-term technical strategy and roadmap planning.
Required Experience
