Group Talent Senior Manager (FTC 6-12 months)
Lead the design and delivery of key strategic talent and development initiatives, helping Admiral evolve its Perform & Grow approach, strengthen leadership and manager capability, and create a more integrated experience of performance, careers and development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform & Grow Evolution
- Design and implement the next phase of Perform & Grow.
- Design and embed behavioural expectations that support Admiral's culture and strategy.
- Develop manager and leadership expectations that create greater consistency across the Group.
- Translate research, insight and feedback into practical solutions that improve employee experience and business outcomes.
Leadership & Manager Capability
- Develop frameworks, tools and resources that help leaders build high-performing teams.
- Create practical solutions that build manager confidence in performance, development and career conversations.
- Shape approaches to manager effectiveness and leadership development.
Careers & Development
- Support the rollout of ‘Careers in Motion’
- Help design experiences that encourage employees to take ownership of their development and careers.
- Create tools, resources and approaches that make careers and development simpler and more accessible.
- Increase awareness of internal opportunities and career pathways.
Strategic Talent Projects
- Provide support across broader Group Talent and Development priorities.
- Lead workstreams from concept through to implementation.
- Manage stakeholders across multiple entities and business areas.
- Translate complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Significant experience in talent management, leadership development, organisational development or performance management.
- Strong programme and project leadership capability.
- Experience designing frameworks, methodologies and people approaches in a people centric way
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating clarity.
- Strong written communication and experience producing executive-level materials.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on adoption, impact and outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
This role would suit an experienced talent or organisational development professional who enjoys designing and implementing strategic people solutions. They will be equally comfortable shaping future thinking, influencing senior stakeholders and driving delivery.
