The role
You'll support the delivery of technology, credit risk and pricing changes within Provenir, our core production decisioning platform, whilst gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly growing and evolving business area.
The role involves supporting regular changes to our decision engine rulesets, helping with partner onboarding, monitoring and refining integrations, supporting strategic projects and identifying opportunities to improve system efficiencies. You'll work alongside experienced team members and have a real opportunity to make an impact on the strength of our customer journeys, risk selection capabilities and speed of change.
Responsibilities
- Support the progression of technology, credit risk and pricing change requests through to implementation, collaborating with stakeholders on solutions, assessing business impacts, making changes, testing, deploying and completing post-live checksLearn and follow technology system processes and help identify improvements and enhancements
- Ensure system and decisioning documentation is clear, accurate and kept up to date
- Support strategic projects by acting as a facilitator between key stakeholders
- Support the team in managing deployments and release activities
- Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, ask questions and share findings
About You
No prior knowledge of our decisioning systems is required, as full training will be provided. However, experience working with decisioning platforms or rule-based decisioning systems would be highly desirable.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is keen to learn, with strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
- Has an understanding of computing, programming concepts and languages such as Python and JavaScript, and a genuine interest in developing technical skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical and listening skills, with the ability to understand and apply information effectively when working with stakeholders across different teams
- Has experience within financial services, or a transferable background with relevant skills and experience and demonstratable crossover
- Is organised and reliable, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple pieces of work concurrently with support from the team
- Is comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and suggesting improvements to existing processes and ways of working
