About the team
As a Senior Agile Consultant, you will be joining the Agile practice at The Adaptavist Group. Our global team of Agile experts are located across the USA, South Africa, and Europe. Our team is composed of Agile Consultants, Technical Consultants, Project Managers, and Learning & Development Consultants. We are focused on helping clients with digital transformations and we keep the customer at the centre of all that we do. We operate with high levels of autonomy, trust and collaboration.

About the role
You will be involved in determining stakeholder requirements with regards to their digital transformation aspirations. You will lead the implementation of transformational change programmes for a variety of companies focusing on Agile processes and methodologies utilising both technology and change management principles to support the client’s overall aims.
You will provide technical leadership and coaching around Agile principles to support clients how to apply Agile methodologies in their company to achieve their transformational aims.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as an Agile specialist to support our clients with applying Agile methodologies to their business problems and how to successfully achieve them
  • Determining the client's key drivers with regards to transformational change
  • Working closely with and lead a team of technical professionals to help define solutions that deliver value, understand business benefits and dependencies
  • Deploying a transformational strategy for clients in line with their overall aims
  • Planning and facilitating the analysis and feasibility activities for opportunities; including leading the engagement with stakeholders to elicit requirements and understand/challenge their value
  • Documenting and managing traceability of business functional and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitating the adoption of relevant Agile principles and help identify, and where applicable deliver, areas for coaching
  • Creating and delivering presentations to demonstrate delivered value and explain how they meet client needs
  • Supporting and coaching Business Consultants in upskilling on Agile methodologies and transformation strategies.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent consultancy skills to determine the business and technical requirements
  • Proven track record of guiding large, enterprise customers through transformational change
  • Ownership of key client relationships
  • In depth understanding and ideally some certifications in scaling Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experience running workshops
  • Experience with communicating with executive stakeholders
  • Agile coaching experience supporting teams to adopt Agile practises
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to think innovatively and creatively
  • Drive and aptitude to manage a broad range of responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel for work within the EMEA region, as needed
  • Pre-sales experience (a bonus!)
  • Experience with public speaking (a bonus!)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (a bonus!)
  • Experience and familiarity with DevOps, ITSM, and TBM principles (a bonus!)
  • Experience managing a team of business consultants and/or technical experts (a bonus!)
  • Experience with Jira Align, TargetProcess or other Enterprise Agile Planning tools (a bonus!)
  • Expertise in Strategic Portfolio management (a bonus!)
