Gearset
Gearset is the complete Salesforce DevOps platform, helping more than 3,500 organisations worldwide build, test, release, and secure changes with confidence.
Since launching in 2015, we've grown into a global SaaS business of 350 Gearcitizens, with teams across engineering, product, design, customer success, sales, marketing, people and operations. We're continuing to invest in the future of the platform through areas like AI-powered testing, while creating opportunities for people to tackle big, exciting challenges and grow their careers along the way.
Our mission has always been to set the standard in Salesforce DevOps by building a deep understanding of our users and solving real problems with a team of smart, pragmatic, and focused people who care about doing great work together.

What work should feel like
The thing people talk about most at Gearset is the quality of the people around them.
As we've grown, we've worked hard to stay intentional about the kind of company we want to build and the values that shape how we work together. "Gearset, team, self" means putting shared success ahead of individual ego. "Focus on the JTBD" means understanding the real problem before jumping to solutions. "Delivery over deliberation" encourages us to make progress, learn quickly, and improve openly. And "embrace discomfort" reminds us that growth often comes from leaning into new challenges, even if they feel unfamiliar or difficult.
Our values show up in practical ways every day: flexible working, auto-approved holiday, honest feedback, collaborative decision-making, and giving people the trust and ownership to do great work in a sustainable way. We care about building a high-performing company, but not one built around presenteeism or burnout. We work with deep intention and care, rather than chaos and guesswork.
"For me, I've never been treated with more trust and ownership than what I have working at Gearset. I've levelled up in so many ways from exceptional product and sales training, to working in the most collaborative and supportive team." - Jade, Renewals
That approach has helped us build products our customers genuinely love to use. Teams across Gearset stay close to customer problems, work collaboratively across disciplines, and focus on solving real challenges. Because of this, customers can feel the difference in the way we build and rate our team and our product highly.
We know different people do their best work in different ways, so we've worked hard to create an environment where people can grow meaningful careers, contribute at a high level, and succeed without feeling like they need to fit a single mould. It's not perfect, but it's real, and that's what work should feel like.
Culture at Gearset
We're really proud of our award winning culture at Gearset. An experience at this kind of scale, across four locations and a global remote team, doesn't maintain itself. It takes ongoing effort, honest conversation, and a genuine curiosity to discover, iterate, and learn as a team.
On our most recent engagement survey (93% response rate), 97% the team told they can work flexibly when they need to, 95% said they enjoy working with their team, and 95% said everyone is committed to building an inclusive environment and treating each other with respect. Our employee NPS is consistently above 60.
What people talk about most when they use their own words, is the quality of the people around them. Not just that colleagues are talented, though they are, but that they're the kind of people who want each other to succeed. The kind who share what they know, give honest feedback, and show up properly for the work and for each other.
That's the thing we're most proud of, and the thing we work hardest to protect.
Flexible working at Gearset
We trust people to work in ways that help them do their best work. For some, that means deep focus time at home and for others, it means collaborating in person more regularly. Flexible working and auto-approved holiday are part of how we support sustainable careers, not just productivity.
That trust comes with ownership, autonomy, and the flexibility to balance meaningful work with life outside it. We care about outcomes, collaboration, and impact, not presenteeism. In our most recent engagement survey, 97% of the team said they can work flexibly when they need to.
Career growth & learning at Gearset
Growth at Gearset happens when people challenge themselves and stay curious. We support that in practical ways, from personal learning and development budgets for conferences, coaching, books, and subscriptions (and more), to internal opportunities like role moves and secondments.
We also run an annual programme for future leaders at Gearset, designed to help people grow within their roles while building broader business awareness, new skills, and stronger cross-team exposure.
Whether you're developing technical expertise, leadership skills, or a deeper understanding of customers, growth here is collaborative, continuous, and shaped around real work and real opportunities.
