Job Description
Location: London Speechmark Office + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Hybrid
We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.
Who We Are
We’re here to build a network the UK can count on – one that connects people, places and potential. Because no matter where you live, what your background is, or how you get online – we think everyone deserves the same chance to stay connected, and with VodafoneThree, that future’s being built – today.
We’re creating more than the UK’s best network. We’re helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.
We believe that everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, there’s space for you here. We’re building a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard, and everyone feels safe to show up as themselves.
You’ll join a team that genuinely cares – about each other, about our customers, and about the future we’re building. From day one, you’ll be welcomed, valued and encouraged to bring your whole self to work.
Why VodafoneThree
Join us and you’ll be at the heart of change. That means building responsibly, investing sustainably and creating opportunities that last.
We’re not just expanding connectivity; we’re reimagining what a connected nation looks like. With £11bn invested in 5G and digital infrastructure, your work will directly power businesses, services, and communities across the country.
You’ll work on real challenges, with real impact, across every corner of the country. Wherever you join us, whatever your role, you’ll be helping to build a future that works better for everyone.
We move at pace, because what we’re building matters – and we’re learning as we go. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re just getting started.
The ultimate purpose of the role, achieved by using your expert knowledge, skills, ability and personality. To achieve this, be pro-active at all times: bring energy, share ideas and help make this a team that talented people want to be a part of.
This role is about much more than simply keeping projects on time and on budget. You will be a highly organised problem solver with the ability to work without supervision and the person to whom the team gravitates for clarity on timings, ways of working and the requirements of the brief. You will have the gravitas and sensitivity to be able to have difficult conversations with senior individuals, as well as the ability to enforce and expect accountability from your team.
Be a part of our Consumer team where creating and developing products, services and propositions is at the forefront. From the way we interact with our customers, to how we communicate in our campaigns and create data-driven propositions, this is where some of our best ideas are brought to life.
Do elegant transitions, beautifully tuned speed curves, and nuanced choreography of on screen elements genuinely excite you? Do you love crafting animation that feels effortless, expressive, and alive across a range of mediums and formats? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Motion Designer to join our team.
As part of Three’s in house creative team, you’ll help shape category leading work that spans campaigns, digital experiences, product, brand, and beyond. You’ll collaborate with a talented group of creatives who care deeply about craft, innovation, and pushing motion design forward.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deliver standout animation projects that drive engagement and elevate campaigns across all channels
- Collaborate closely with account, creative, and design teams to take work from brief to final delivery with precision and craft
- Shape and evolve the motion language of the Three brand across social, digital, media, and in store environments
- Contribute to storyboards, motion tests, and mood references to communicate ideas and support client feedback cycles
- Stay ahead of emerging animation trends, tools, and techniques, bringing fresh thinking into the team’s workflow
- Produce tonally accurate, visually consistent animations across formats including social, digital media, banners, and retail AV
- Interpret and solve complex visual briefs while upholding brand guidelines and creative integrity
- Act as a go to expert for animation projects, maintaining clear and constructive communication with stakeholders
- Support the recruitment of new animators by reviewing portfolios, interviewing candidates, and contributing to hiring decisions
Who you are
- Strong motion design craft with deep proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, and core Creative Suite tools, with a love for elegant transitions and graphical movement
- Bonus skills in C4D/3D and UI animation, though not essential
- Confident communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaboratively
- Positive, personable team player who contributes to a supportive, energising studio culture
- Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas, strong craft, and a solutions focused mindset to every brief
