What you’ll do

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. In this entry-level role, you will support the testing of software applications and telecom solutions, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. Your contributions will help identify issues early in the development cycle and foster a culture of quality within Vodafone.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and scripts for web, mobile, and telecom applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on software and telecom systems.
• Document and report defects clearly in tools like JIRA, providing detailed steps to reproduce.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Support the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to Vodafone’s QA standards and telecom protocols.

Who you are

• Familiarity with QA methodologies and SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Understanding of SQL for database testing.
• Exposure to telecom systems is a plus.
• JIRA, TestRail, Selenium (basic knowledge preferred).
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years in software testing or quality assurance (internship or project experience acceptable).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
