Role Purpose

Role purpose: This role is responsible for driving the development, and execution of the base financial services product portfolio. Lead on understanding market trends, customer demands, and regulatory requirements to shape & drive the product roadmap and lifecycle while working closely with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet both customer needs, business goals & foster business growth in a highly regulated industry

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for financial services base products in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive product innovation through Identifying market gaps, emerging trends, and new customer segments.
  • Lead on analysing performance data to inform decision-making, optimize product features, and enhance competitive positioning in the dynamic financial services landscape.

Communicate with leadership and stakeholders to set & execute product strategies that address market opportunities and regulatory

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  1. Strong interpersonal skills, people management and communication skills
  2. Leadership and change management skills.
  3. Highly aware of new technologies and emerging global service delivery trends
  4. Strong knowledge of Mobile Payments Eco system, Fintech market landscape, competitive environment and internal structure/processes.
  5. Problem solving and crisis management & critical thinking skills to address service challenges and design innovative solutions
  6. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
