Supply Planner
Job Description
Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a
Supply Planner (German speaker)
What you'll do:
- Establish a predefined supply plan through the following key SCM pillars:
- Monthly Demand cycle management
- Work with key stakeholder functions and on their inputs during the monthly demand cycle process including Demand Planning, Finance
- Prepare forecast in SAP IBP system based on Demand Planning direction
- Verify Procurement Proposals, PR’s and place PO’s towards pre-selected Suppliers
- Ensure timely completion of forecast generation steps according to the preset cycle calendar
- Drive collaboration between Business and Suppliers on demand related topics
- Supplier operations management
- Share material forecast with Suppliers, identify potential risks or constraints over the full planning horizon
- Prepare and provide valuable and qualitative input into Supply collaboration meetings
- Participate in Supplier performance review meetings together with VPC manager, provide inputs, identify root causes or out-of-target situations and co-develop solution
- Material supply plan preparation and execution
- Propose most feasible supply plan considering supplier commitments and budget constraints
- Support the allocation and prioritization process for both materials and capacity
- Identify potential exceptions that require specific actions (major changes in demand / supply and material shortages), apply pre-defined protocols with follow-up on resolution
- Inventory Management
- Set-up and control inventory targets, analyze and report on potential inventory at risk / aged inventory
- Check on return inventory and possible utilization of materials on Corporate Asset Marketplace
- Process improvement initiatives
- Suggest and implement agreed improvements to supply planning processes
- Escalate specific exceptions that require approval to be resolved
- Communication with other functions to ensure alignment on the VPC defined key strategies and business priorities
- Support the Corporate overall business direction initiatives from Supply Planning perspective
What you will bring to the team:
- 5+ years of experience in related areas of supply chain
- Graduation from an engineering department is preferred
- Fluent in English AND German
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage expected and unexpected changes in the plan, under time constraints and with limited information
- Ability to propose and create supply scenarios
- Ability to have a holistic vision of inputs from different functions (Deployment, Engineering Team, Finance, Supply Planning) and be able to integrate all of them in the demand forecast
- Ability to achieve the best overall planning result for the organization by balancing customer service levels, working capital, asset utilization and cost.
