What you’ll do

1. Global Data Engineering & Solution DesignDesign, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services (Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions).Ensure pipelines adhere to global architectural standards and follow best practices for reusability, maintainability, and performance.Work with international data engineering teams to harmonize approaches, ensure platform consistency, and align with global technology roadmaps.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management (GCP)Develop, manage, and optimize cloud-native data infrastructures using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub and Dataflow.Contribute to global cloud automation practices using Terraform, ensuring consistent deployments across multiple regions.3. Data Quality, Governance & SecurityImplement standardized data quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring dashboards to maintain high-quality datasets used across international business units.Ensure compliance with global data protection policies (e.g., GDPR) and internal security standards.Collaborate with cybersecurity and governance teams to maintain consistent IAM policies, encryption practices, and audit readiness.

4. Cross-Functional & Cross-Regional CollaborationPartner with global Data Science, Analytics, and Product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.Communicate effectively with stakeholders from different countries and cultural backgrounds.Contribute to documentation, knowledge-sharing sessions, and global community-of-practice initiatives.

Who you are

  • You hold a university degree in IT or another technical field.
  • You bring 5–10 years of hands‑on data engineering experience in large‑scale enterprise environments.
  • You have 2–5 years of practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
  • You are confident in designing and optimizing big‑data processing systems such as Spark, Dataflow, Beam, or Kafka.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with enterprise databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Strong working experience with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Functions.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud‑native DevOps practices, and Git workflows.
  • Solid background in Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and Packer in enterprise environments.

Soft Skills & Global Mindset

  • Able to collaborate effectively within distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to operate independently in a global matrix organization.High adaptability, cultural awareness, and ease in working with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect.
  • Exposure to global ML/AI pipelines using Vertex AI or TensorFlow.
  • Experience in multinational corporations or large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
