Role Purpose
To fully support the company’s strategic objectives through the provision of Legal advisory, contract management, effective management of legal risks and litigation.
Key Accountabilities
- Legal advisory and risk management – conduct legal research, provide legal advice to different business units and maintain an effective risk management system.
- Compliance management – ensure that business operates in compliance with applicable laws
- Contract management – negotiate, review, prepare and execute contracts taking into account the legal implications and ensure that the company’s commercial interests are maintained.
- Litigation management – prepare necessary documentation and represent the company in the courts of law where business initiates or defends legal action
Competencies
- Demonstrate excellent legal research skills, statutory interpretation and administrative law skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgement on legal issues.
- Good verbal and written communication.

- LLB
- Admission to practice
