What you’ll do

As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be the trusted technical advisor for major accounts, working closely with senior stakeholders—up to CIO level—to design and deliver technology solutions that make a real impact. You’ll manage the end-to-end design process, ensuring every solution is coherent, commercially viable, and aligned with customer needs.
You’ll create strategic roadmaps that span one, two, and three years, drawing on customer business drivers, industry trends, and Vodafone’s portfolio. From conceptual and logical designs to physical implementation, you’ll translate requirements into solutions that solve real problems. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Operations, Product, Programmes, and Service teams to ensure designs are deployable and profitable.
Your role will combine technical expertise with business acumen—storytelling with data, influencing at senior levels, and ensuring governance structures are in place. You’ll lead discussions during bids and tenders, provide technical input for proposals, and present solutions confidently to customers. Every design you create will include robust management components for monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning, ensuring operational excellence.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with expert-level certifications (Cisco CCIE, CCDA or equivalent); multiple qualifications are an advantage
  • Strong background in Telco, ICT, and Consulting
  • Enterprise Architecture qualifications such as TOGAF or equivalent
  • Deep technical knowledge of Cisco/Aruba networks, Microsoft platforms, and cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure)
  • Understanding of IT service models and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow)
  • Ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor style for different audiences
  • A collaborative approach that builds trust and encourages integrity and follow-through
