About this Role

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to shape and continuously improve the social media approach for Vodafone Business. Based in Budapest within VOIS Marketing, you will develop social strategies, translate insights into practical improvements and help increase engagement, followers and social attribution across campaigns. You will collaborate with campaign, communications and marketing stakeholders to bring integrated organic and paid social activity to life across key channels and markets.
The role combines social media strategy, editorial planning, campaign activation, performance analysis, stakeholder management and the adoption of best practices across an international, matrixed organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Define an effective, innovative social media strategy and editorial calendar for Vodafone Business.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regular execution across key social channels, supporting Large Enterprise, Public Sector, SME and SoHo programmes.
  • Work with Campaign Managers to integrate organic and paid social media approaches, including appropriate tactics and targeting, into campaign planning.
  • Develop a reporting framework that turns social media performance and external best practices into actionable insights and optimisation opportunities.
  • Create practical playbooks that markets can adopt to increase engagement and improve customer experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for social media processes, publishing tools, channels and targeting techniques, providing guidance to marketing stakeholders.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitors and leading brands to identify new approaches and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the adoption of social media strategies and innovations across markets through campaign toolkits and locally adapted approaches.
  • Contribute to community management best practices, including appropriate processes and tone of voice.

Who you are

  • You have relevant experience in social media planning, listening and innovation.
  • You are experienced in stakeholder management within a matrixed organisation and can align multiple teams around shared plans and objectives.
  • You communicate and present information effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • You have project management skills and experience collaborating across functions to deliver continuous and regular outputs.
  • You have strong analytical skills and can assess organic and paid social performance to recommend meaningful optimisations.
  • You have working knowledge of social publishing tools, audience targeting approaches and major social media channels.

What's in it for you

This role offers the opportunity to shape social media strategy across an international business environment and influence how campaigns are activated across multiple markets.
