Job Description

Join us

At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers — we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world.

If you want to grow your career whilst finding the right balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunity to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you'll do

With us, you can shape the future of how customers connect, experience and enjoy our services.

As Senior Product Owner, Propositions and Product, you'll lead the definition and evolution of Vodafone’s Consumer Fixed and TV propositions, products and hardware portfolio. Working alongside the CPO and the fixed leadership team, you'll set a clear, customer-led strategic direction that turns customer insight, market dynamics and commercial ambition into a coherent multi-year portfolio strategy and roadmap.

You'll be accountable for defining the vision and strategic direction for propositions, products and hardware across the Consumer Fixed and TV portfolio, ensuring investment priorities and roadmaps support both customer needs and long-term business goals. By bringing together customer insight, commercial opportunities and technology capabilities, you'll help shape where the portfolio goes next.

You'll lead the development and evolution of propositions across the full lifecycle, from concept and validation through to launch, optimisation and simplification. Your focus will be on creating differentiated, customer-led propositions that deliver meaningful experiences while supporting Vodafone’s long-term strategic ambitions.

Working closely with Commercial teams, you'll help shape proposition economics, pricing and packaging, ensuring customer value, brand impact and commercial performance are balanced in a way that supports sustainable growth and margin objectives.

You'll own the hardware strategy and roadmap across Consumer Fixed and TV, including customer premises equipment (CPE) and in-home devices, ensuring hardware choices support proposition goals, customer experience expectations and service outcomes.

You'll define and lead the proposition and product operating model, creating clear governance, planning rhythms, prioritisation frameworks and decision-making standards. By bringing clarity to roles, responsibilities and escalation paths, you'll help cross-functional teams move with pace and confidence.

You'll also lead go-to-market strategy and end-to-end launch readiness for strategic propositions, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment, clear ownership, robust governance and high-quality delivery. From defining go/no-go criteria to resolving challenges along the way, you'll help bring new propositions to market successfully.

Success in the role means actively managing proposition and product performance across customer, commercial and operational outcomes. You'll ensure issues are identified early, performance is continuously improved and customer experience remains central across sales, onboarding, in-home usage, service and retention journeys.

As a senior leader, you'll build capability across the propositions and product function, creating an environment where teams have clear direction, accountability and opportunities to grow while contributing to broader Consumer and Fixed business ambitions.

Who we are looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with a genuine passion for customers, products and experiences. You'll bring a product-led mindset, challenge conventional thinking when needed and use insight, influence and clear decision-making to help shape the future of the portfolio.

You'll bring:

  • A degree-level qualification in Marketing, Business, Economics, Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in senior proposition, product or marketing leadership roles, ideally within telecommunications, technology, media or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Proven experience working in complex matrix organisations and partnering with Commercial, Technology, Networks, Operations and Finance teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of propositions or products, from strategy and concept development through to launch, in-life optimisation and simplification.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, building capability, setting direction and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • A strong customer-led and product-driven mindset, with a track record of creating differentiated propositions, products or experiences that deliver long-term value.
  • Deep understanding of proposition design, product strategy and portfolio evolution, including the relationship between propositions, pricing, hardware and customer experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer value, brand impact and financial outcomes while maintaining a long-term perspective.
  • The ability to translate customer needs, market dynamics and technology capabilities into compelling and executable strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to create alignment and momentum across diverse teams.
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with confidence navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs and driving decisions at pace.
  • Strong customer and product intuition, using insights to shape compelling propositions and experiences.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and focus on what matters most.
  • Clear and compelling communication skills, including the ability to build understanding through strong narratives and storytelling.
  • A collaborative leadership style that creates both alignment and constructive challenge across teams.
  • Confidence making decisions in fast-moving environments where priorities often need balancing
  • A data-driven approach, using evidence and insight to inform decisions rather than relying on opinion alone.

The Give and The Get

In return, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future direction of Vodafone’s Consumer Fixed and TV portfolio, working across strategy, propositions, products and hardware to create experiences that matter to customers. You'll work alongside talented colleagues from across Commercial, Technology, Networks and Operations, with the space to shape decisions, challenge thinking and make a lasting impact on how millions of customers connect every day.

Not a perfect fit?

  • Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly? At Vodafone we are passionate about empowering people and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, whatever their personal or professional background.
  • If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align exactly with every part of the job description, we encourage you to still apply — you may be the right candidate for this role or another opportunity.

What’s in it for you?

  • The flexibility to work how you perform best, with hybrid ways of working and real focus on work-life balance
  • A competitive package including salary, bonus and a strong pension to support you now and long-term
  • ''Generous'' flexible benefits allowance, plus access to comprehensive health and wellbeing support
  • Access to our on-site wellness centre and gym, alongside a wider wellbeing programme
  • Free mobile plan, device offers and exclusive discounts for you, your family and friends
  • Market-leading family policies and flexibility to support you at every stage of life
  • Real opportunities for career growth through learning, development and internal progression

  • We’re committed to increasing diversity, ensuring equal representation, and making Vodafone a place where everyone feels safe, valued and included.
  • Vodafone is committed to supporting candidates with disabilities during the recruitment process. If you require any adjustments, please let us know.
