About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects Administrator to manage and maintain the SAP BO platform within the Vision function. Based in Pune, this role focuses on ensuring platform stability, high availability, and performance in a Unix environment, while supporting reporting and analytics capabilities across the organisation. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP BO administration, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and analytical troubleshooting, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

What you will do

  • Administer, maintain, and upgrade SAP BusinessObjects systems in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Design, manage, and support SAP BO clustering to ensure high availability and resilience.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and lead root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Work closely with Vision and wider digital engineering teams to support reporting requirements.
  • Apply strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge to support data access and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate within agile delivery frameworks, contributing to stable and scalable reporting solutions.

Who you are

  • A graduate in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical discipline.
  • An experienced SAP BO Administrator with 6+ years of hands-on platform administration experience.
  • Confident working as a power user in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Skilled in analytical troubleshooting with the ability to take ownership of complex issues.
  • Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders and contributing effectively within a team.
  • Familiar with agile ways of working; experience in SAFE Agile or Scrum is an advantage.
  • Exposure to the telecoms industry and knowledge of Java are beneficial but not essential.
