What you’ll do
• Develop projects that increases network efficiency and reduces opex,
o Manage the transformation through a fully automated Datacentre network
Datacentre SDN: prepare project plans for the readiness to SDN, inline with the group strategy
Capacity planning of the IP&DC Network infrastructure to ensure that adequate capacity is available to meet traffic demands.
• Ability to automate IP design configuration using python, etc.
• Design solutions for all IT enterprise and Call Center Services.
• Project management of the activities related to the network and Network security.
• Assess project risks and develop procedures, prepare Project status reports and follow up of Regional Project implementation
• Define equipment to be used in the network and determine equipment type and quantities to be used in the projects,
• Develop datacentre high level network plans, planning of the Network Services to meet sales team demands and market facts. Need to have an interaction with Cloud teams to dimension network elements, make dimensioning for the links between network elements
• Support to L3,L2 and L1 team for solving complex and critical problems specifically on Datacentre infrastructure
• Team player able to cooperate closely with all divisions within company in a friendly manner without losing the integrity of his/her purpose as Datacentre Network Engineering
• Collect coverage/capacity demand from related departments to design the network, assess traffic demand, define link protection methodology,
• Create design solutions and planning guidelines to enable efficient and standardized network.
• Manage Vendor for all technical improvements to meet IP Core and Datacentre Network requirements
• Optimize access network by using new hub points, prepare reroute plans in order to maximize network availability, optimize network by checking the utilization reports, prepare new capacity plans in order to maximize the efficiency
• Continually seek opportunities to decrease operational costs within the network
• Follow up latest transport technologies, follow-up internal and global transport related trials and report them to Vodafone Global and legal authority.
• Follow up Vodafone Global technical strategy/guidelines and implement it to local network.
Who you are
• Graduate from a reputable university as electrical, electronics, electronics and telecommunication or computer engineering
• Master degree in Electrical/Electronic field or MBA is also desired
• Have minimum 8 years of experience in telecommunication
• Have min 6 years of telecommunication IP planning/operation experience, datacentre network planning
• Have IP Network certifications are also desirable, including CCNP, CCIE Data Centre Certification
• Very good knowledge on IP/MPLS, L2/L3 VPN Technologies and VXLAN tunnelling protocol
• Have a good experience on IP routing protocols such as IS-IS, BGP, signalling protocols such as LDP, RSVP.
• Hands-on experience on Cisco high end Routers, experience on Cisco and Juniper switch product family, and also experience on Cisco ACI and Juniper Apstra automation solutions
• Know-how for Mobile Network Architecture & IT Datacentre Architecture
• Internet Service Provider network topology architecture know-how
• Very Good knowledge on DC SDN and NFV concept
• Good command of English
• Military service completed for male candidates
• Have driving licenses
• Have not restriction for mobility
• Excellent communications skills
