What you’ll do

Delivering relevant communications and experiences to our customers is at the heart of our strategy at Vodafone. Our Media stack is a key enabler of this, facilitating relevant and timely experiences which drive business growth. This role will support with defining and delivering our strategy for Media Stack; ensuring the right technologies, processes, governance, frameworks and best practices are in place, to maximise the ROI of our investments.

The success of the person will depend highly on their ability to work well in a fast-paced and demanding environment, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders across our markets.

  • Supports the Senior Manager to create a centre of excellence for Media and Media Technologies strategy, becoming a focal point and specialist for the discipline
  • Ensures adherence to frameworks and best practices across markets, providing professional expertise and support where required
  • Defines and implements governance and value tracking frameworks
  • Reports on operational effectiveness and performance through ongoing process/capability auditing
  • Supports the Senior Manager to establish best use of (standardised) technology platforms, and lead the relationships with the platforms (strategic development, product roadmap, demos, training etc)
  • Identifies strategic opportunities in our media stack to deliver efficiency and effectiveness in audience and experience approach, leading to business growth
  • Supports Senior Manager in driving training and development agenda for Media Tech, to ensure advantage for Vodafone talent, keeping abreast of key trends and developing thought leadership in these areas

Who you are

  • In-depth knowledge of Media and Marketing/ Ad Tech platforms (DSP, CDP, Analytics, Tag Management,
  • Personalisation, Adserver, Verification etc.)
  • Strong relationship management and ability to influence at a senior level
  • Proven track record at driving and managing projects which create impact through pragmatic problem-solving
  • Experience working in a multi-national and multi-cultural set-up
  • Excellent numeracy, data handling, time management, prioritisation and delegation skills
  • Excellent understanding of paid and owned marketing/ media channels
  • Superior presentation and communication skills
  • Able to successfully navigate between overall strategy and the detailed technical requirements to deliver against that strategy
  • Experience working with Media and AdTech platforms to deliver business growth
  • In-depth understanding of the operational aspects of utilising technologies across the stack
  • Strong prior industry experience from working with other brands, technology vendors or agencies
  • Comfortable working both as part of a team and as an individual contributor
  • Ability to build effective audience and experience strategies which can be facilitated via our technology stack
  • Qualifications or badges which highlight competency and knowledge of Media and AdTech ecosystems is preferable
