About this Role

We are seeking a MEC Configuration Lead to support the configuration, enhancement and optimisation of Amdocs MEC (Master Enterprise Catalogue), Customer Notifications and associated frontend and backend applications used for ordering, billing and communications. The individual will act as the primary point of contact for the Business Configuration team, owning requirements gathering, solution shaping, configuration design and providing support across the delivery lifecycle. This role suits an analytical, detail-oriented professional with extensive telecoms product knowledge and a strong ability to translate business needs into technical and operational requirements.

What you will do

• Understand business requirements and product suites to capture and implement enhancements efficiently.
• Manage interactions with business teams, documenting high-level requirements and securing approvals before mobilisation.
• Determine high-level project scope through collaboration with architects, business partners and vendors.
• Manage VROM estimations for analysis, data gathering, configuration and testing, and support demand planning.
• Translate high-level scope into low-level configuration requirements with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Represent the Business Solution Configuration team during demand and intake stages for change initiatives.
• Create data-gathering requests in JIRA based on signed-off requirements and support mobilisation.
• Provide high-quality input to project planning, reporting, change and risk management.
• Support testing and deployment phases as a product specialist.
• Own end-to-end integrity of configuration design.
• Provide second-level support to the data-gathering team for incidents and defects.
• Review testing strategies and approaches and provide subject-matter expertise as required.

Who you are

• A self-starter with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret complex business requirements.
• At least five years’ experience in telecoms products and CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of the Amdocs CRM Platform and Amdocs MEC.
• Experienced in designing mobile or fixed-line products (highly beneficial).
• Skilled in building collaborative relationships with IT demand, delivery, operations and vendor teams.
• Experienced in requirements-gathering techniques and translating needs into actionable outputs.
Nice to have:
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom Engineering or IT.
• Telecoms product design experience.
• Technical writing and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Project, Visio and JIRA.
