M-Pesa Senior Accountant - Treasury Reporting

Job Description
Role Purpose
To manage operational support for e-money settlement activities, partner settlements, wallet funding, and transactional treasury operations
Key Accountabilities
- Process e-money settlements and partner funding transactions
- Monitor settlement queues and operational liquidity
- Support wallet-to-bank and bank-to-wallet operations
- Ensure accurate settlement documentation and approvals
- Escalate settlement failures and delays
- Maintain settlement logs and operational controls
- Support automation initiatives for settlement processing
Key Performance Indicators
- Settlement turnaround time
- Failed transaction rate
- Operational accuracy rate
- Settlement reconciliation completion
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Banking, or Accounting
- 3+ years in payment operations or treasury operations
